Howard House joined U.S. Energy Development Corporation in 2025 as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategic Officer. In this role, Mr. House plays an integral role in developing corporate strategy, as well as identifying, evaluating, and pursuing strategic opportunities for the Company. Additionally, in 2026, he will be opening and managing USEDC’s office in Houston.

 

Mr. House joined USEDC after a long career in energy investment banking, which included senior management roles at the energy groups of Greenhill & Co., Raymond James & Associates, and Lehman Brothers. He began his career in the energy industry as a petroleum engineer with Exxon Company USA.

 

With over 35 years’ experience as an investment banker, Mr. House closed more than $125 billion in transactions in the energy space, including approximately $60 billion of strategic advisory mandates, which include mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, takeover defense, and restructurings. He also raised over $65 billion for energy companies through both public and private equity and debt capital markets transactions, including a variety of energy yield products. In recognition of certain of those transactions, his firms were awarded the Oil and Gas Investor Financing of the Year, the M&A Advisor Deal of the Year, and the ACG Energy Deal of the Year.

 

Mr. House currently sits on the boards of SpringSpirit Baseball, a 501(c)3 charity that provides faith-based support for inner city youth through baseball, soccer and other sports, and the Sam Houston Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He is a former director of the Houston Producers’ Forum and the Channels Ranch, Inc.

 

Mr. House holds an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a Sord Scholar. He also earned petroleum and civil engineering degrees, with honors, from Tulane University and Lamar University, respectively. Mr. House holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses. He also is an Eagle Scout.
