U.S. Energy CEO Jordan Jayson Featured in Summer 2025 Issue of NAPE Magazine

August 4, 2025

We’re proud to share that our CEO & Chairman, Jordan Jayson, is featured in the Summer 2025 issue of NAPE Magazine, highlighting his journey, leadership philosophy, and vision for the future of U.S. Energy.

After a successful career on Wall Street, Jordan returned to Buffalo in 2009 to join his family’s oil and gas business—a defining decision that laid the foundation for what U.S. Energy has become today. Over the past 15+ years, he has transformed the company from a small family operation into a diversified E&P with more than 4,000 wells across 13 states and Canada.

Under Jordan’s leadership, U.S. Energy has experienced extraordinary growth and is on track to deploy nearly $1 billion in 2025, with a primary focus on the Permian Basin. His disciplined approach to expansion, paired with a solutions-first mindset, continues to position the company for long-term success.

“The vision of the company isn’t necessarily driven by me—it’s driven by 90 people who work at U.S. Energy and collectively agree on how we move forward, because we have a ton of great talent.”

As we celebrate 45 years of U.S. Energy, Jordan reflects on the lessons learned, the value of collaboration, and the opportunities ahead. His feature in NAPE Magazine offers an inside look at the strategic thinking and people-focused leadership driving our next phase of growth.
